Last month the board voted and passed a new guest player policy for out tournament teams and wanted to make sure all parents are aware of the change With invitation from a coach, players are allowed to practice with the teams at no cost so that our coaches can assess if they will be a good match with the team and to determine if the player is interested in joining the team. The new fees are only incurred when the player is invited to join the team for a tournament and will be payable through our registration system.

New Policy:
Effective immediately, Tournament Teams are allowed to invite guest players to tournaments with approval from the Tournament Team Director (TTD) or Regional Commissioner (RC). Roster sizes should be as follows:
9U/10U - 10 Players
11U/12U - 12 Players
13U/14U/15U - 15 Players
16U and above - 18 Players
The registration fee for each guest player shall be $60 per tournament. JCYSL will waive this fee for the first tournament a guest player participates in each membership year. If an individual guest players is requested in subsequent tournaments, they should be encouraged to join the team and pay the prorated registration fee based on the number of tournaments remaining in the membership year.
Any exceptions to this policy will need approval of the JCYSL Regional Board.
