The evaluation process is an important element in AYSO. Each year we do this so that we can balance teams next year. Please be sure to use the correct form for your division.

On these forms, you will find 5 or 6 categories (depending on division) that attempt to separate the skills on a soccer field.  Players are to be evaluated in each category with a score from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). For upper divisions, there is a separate category for keeper skills, again allowing a score from 1 to 5.  If a player did not play keeper, then a score of zero will be used. 

If you had a player in fall who did not come back, please include his/her evaluation score.  If you did not coach in the fall, ask a parent to compare the "missing" player, with one of the current players and give a score.   

Finally, please compare your players to ALL players in your division.  The best player on your team may not be the best player in the league.  So rank accordingly.
